Hello everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I've been very busy during the past weeks. Whew!

And this is the first time I've spent my Christmas and New Year's eve away from my family in Davao.

Anyway, yesterday, as I was browsing Facebook, one of my friend shared an application called "My Year In Status - Status Collage". My friend said it's humorous, so I clicked on his collage and read some of his "Facebook Status Messages" made into a collage!

Some were really funny of how the sentences were made up. =))

So, I made my own and here's what I've got:

Tonight, I've just receive some nice stuffs from Tita Gerry. It just occurred to me that I got some of the things that I've been wanting before... And now, I'm trying to recall and jot down all those stuffs that I want to have... maybe, just maybe, Santa might drop by here in my blog and send me the gift I wanted... cross-fingers... as I, myself, is saving money to buy them! ^___^ They list might be a bit materialistic but I want them all!!!

1. THE GIFT OF TIME… You’re busy, I’m busy…everybody’s busy. That is already a given. But make time to have at lunch…or dinner or breakfast…don’t just call them or drop them an email…it doesn’t cost you. Spend some time together and when you do…give them the next one….

2. THE GIFT OF LISTENING…Tune out all your business or family concerns and tune in. Really…really…listen! No interrupting, no daydreaming, no planning your response. They’re your friends and you’re not out there to do a presentation or to impress someone…just listen.

Now when you’re having a meaningful conversation make sure that this is the next gift you give to your friends…

3. THE GIFT OF LAUGHTER… Don’t be too serious in your conversation all the time. Laugh with each other. Share some funny stories and some funny experiences because this gift you’re giving is essentially saying: “I love to laugh with you and not at you.”

Now some friends may be far away that there is a gift you can give that would be meaningful. And this is:

And just one last suggestion if you would allow me. Why not surprise your security guards, janitors and messengers with a lavish gift that will make their family’s Christmas celebration a lot more meaningful and unforgettable?

After taking lunch, I read from a friend/guildmate, Nikz, posting some real cheesy Tagalog Pick-up Lines... Some we're downright true!

Anyway, here are some of those lines I liked.... :)

It's tearing me apart...

It's been weeks since we've had our last talk (via email)...

I've been reading her email again and again... still, I just can't take it...

I admit I've been wrong, so wrong to her... And I really deserve this, I just realized that I really deserve this...

Now, I don't know what to do... and it's hurting me bad thinking I can't do nothing to save this relationship.

Now... it occurred to me...

So... this is how it feels to be... being heartbroken and left with nothing... this is how it feels to be in a relationship that sound too good to be true, like a fairy tale... This is how you'll suffer... It's really hard to think, feel and... I feel.... devastated...

Each day, I'm trying to put all my attention in my work, done things just to shake off that "kind of feeling". And yet, it haunts me..

Yes, it's a distant relationship... real hard to manage, hard to maintain, hard to attain...
